Tip #4 to Improve Employee Engagement

A common mistake leaders make is assuming their employees do not care about how the organization is performing, particularly leaders that work for large organizations (1,000+ employees). Sharing operational performance data can have a powerful impact on engagement, productivity, and peer-to-peer accountability. When leaders present information to employees, they also have the opportunity to connect the team's day-to-day work to the company's overall mission.

Tip #4: Cascade Financial, Operational / Service, Human Capital, and Community Engagement Data To All Employees

Below are a few Fortune 100 companies that provide very detailed information on their operational performance, sustainability efforts, and community engagement activity to external stakeholders.

Walmart (https://corporate.walmart.com/)
ExxonMobil (https://corporate.exxonmobil.com/)
Amazon (https://www.aboutamazon.com/)
Home Depot (https://corporate.homedepot.com/about)
Lockheed Martin (https://www.lockheedmartin.com/en-us/who-we-are.html)

We encourage leaders at all-sized organizations to consider sharing financial, operational, human capital, and community engagement data with their employees on a routine basis.
